| The
Newark Country Club sponsors two golf associations for its female golfers, an
18-hole and 9-hole program. The Newark Country Club is also a member of the Delaware
Women's Golf Association (DWGA) and the Women's Golf Association of Philadelphia
(WGAP). The 18-Hole Women's Golf Association sponsors events for its members every Tuesday; the 9-Hole Women's Golf Association, every Thursday. An ambitious tournament program is also sponsored by the two associations (See Tournament Schedules below). The Women's 18-Hole Golf Association annual dues includes membership in the association; eligibility to play in Tuesday events, tournaments, mixed golf events, and Brandywine Valley League Interclub Matches; and eligibility to join the DWGA and WGAP. The association also offers a dues package which includes membership in the association; eligibility to play in opening and closing day tournaments and mixed golf events; and eligibility to join the DWGA and WGAP. The Women's 9-Hole Golf Association annual dues entitles players to membership in the association and participation in Thursday events, tournaments, interclub invitational's, and mixed golf events. |
