Newark Country Club

Membership Policy

Newark Country Club (NCC) offers it members the opportunity to enjoy social and recreational activities-including golf, swimming, dining, and special events. NCC welcomes new members and does not discriminate against members or applicants based on race, sex, age, or religion.

The various types of membership shall, from time to time, be altered by resolution of the Board of Directors. A "family" is defined as a husband and wife or single head-of-household and natural, step, or adopted children under the age of 21, or if full-time students, under the age of 23. Grandchildren are not considered part of family memberships and therefore are treated as guests.

Each of the following resident golf memberships is divided into three categories, based on age of the applicant or spouse, whoever is older. The three categories are 21 to 29 years, 30 to 34 years, and 35 years or older. Members in one age group are automatically transferred to the next age group upon meeting the age requirement and become responsible for the appropriate fees and food minimum.
